More information

All schemes offer the same level of care and support, including 24 hour care and support on site.
The main difference is that Extra Care schemes are older in design and smaller in size compared to the
newer Independent Living schemes, and therefore offer fewer communal facilities.
All Extra Care schemes are currently under review, to be completed by April 2018.
For more information about any of these schemes, please visit Independent Living in Essex.
