Care providers, and those in receipt of Direct Payments, who are having issues with their PPE supply chains can order PPE through this service.
Please note this provision is separate to the Government PPE portal which CQC registered care providers can also order from.
Who can order?
Essex care providers, Day Services, those in receipt of Direct Payments and those supporting wider social care provision as referred by ECC.
How much can I order?
You will receive up to 14 days supply. Please note we will expect that you have exhausted your usual PPE supply routes before using this service.
If you are struggling to order through your usual routes we have produced a list of PPE suppliers for you to order from.
Note that you can claim back PPE costs (and other Covid-19 related costs) through ECC's Covid-19 Response Fund.

Location of Warehouse to collect PPE
Please only attend the warehouse where your application for PPE has been approved.

The entrance for collecting PPE is through the Colchester Ambulance station and is located at the rear of the Colchester Ambulance station and Essex Fire Colchester workshop.

Weekdays 8am - 3pm
Weekends - we have an on call system at weekends for urgent PPE requests. Please continue to make your orders in the usual way. Should you have an urgent need, you will be given a time to collect your order by the team member. Please note that the warehouse is not open for ad hoc collections at weekends.
