Responding to Market Feedback

Summary: This page collates feedback raised at ECC provider events, and details what action(s) ECC is taking for each one. 

We recognise there are many challenges to operate the social care market in Essex, many are national issues whilst others are more local. ECC's current communication channels have been set up to recognise the issues and work with providers and Health colleagues to understand and resolve them. 

The Quadrant provider forums were refreshed in 2018 and we collate feedback from each one to improve the next. ECC also has strategic provider meetings, the Advisory forum with ECC Members, and the Council attends the Essex Care Association (ECA) conferences held quarterly. Some common themes are already emerging as well as more localised difficulties. All issues raised in these meetings are logged by ECC and communicated to the relevant teams to review and act upon (where possible).
