Becoming a Provider on the Integrated Residential and Nursing Framework 2019 (IRN 2019)
Peter Fairley, Director Integration and Partnerships talks about the benefits of joining the IRN contract.
The tender for The Integrated Residential and Nursing 2019 Tender on behalf of Essex County Council, Basildon and Brentwood CCG, Castle Point and Rochford CCG, Mid Essex CCG, North Essex CCG, Southend CCG and West Essex CCG is now closed submissions. If you have any questions please email ContractManagementAdults@essex.gov.uk.
The Framework is a ranked list of providers who can deliver both respite and long term residential and nursing care to the residents of Essex.
The current Framework started in February 2016 and will be replaced by the above opportunity in June 2019. There are annual review points at the beginning of each calendar year where new providers are able to join the framework and existing providers are able to submit a new price. The final tender for the current framework closed on the 6th February 2018 and will last until the end of the contract.
Becoming a Spot Provider
Essex is currently looking for providers who can deliver residential and nursing care in areas where we have limited provision via our IRN Framework. It is our expectation that any provider who becomes a spot provider to deliver services in these areas, will look to join our framework at the next available review point.
